Terms & Conditions

The Business Lounge and Concierge Services Agreement T&Cs outline the services provided by the Consulate General of India, Sydney at the Business Lounge located at level 3, 265 Castlereagh Street, Sydney NSW -2000 to facilitate and enhance trade and business activities between India and Australia. These services are subject to the Terms and Conditions (T&C) outlined herein. The Consulate General of India Sydney reserves the right to update the T&C at any time without prior notice. Usage of these services at the consulate General of India, Sydney does not establish a tenancy, but rather only allows for the free usage of amenities under specific conditions.

Consulate General of India may provide access to its office space, workstations, Internet access, office equipment, conference space, knowledge resources (library access), and other services (referred to collectively as "Services").as may be defined by the Consulate General of India, Sydney may deny any service(S) without any notice or explanation. Users of the Lounge cannot demand any service(s) provided as a matter of right. The lounge is a facilitation services offered by the consulate..

Do’s / Don’ts for the usage of the Services:

  • Users must not use the Services for any unlawful or prohibited purposes according to the terms and conditions and as per the rules &regulations by local and Indian Governments.

  • Users are not allowed to use the Services in a way that could harm, disable, overload, or disrupt any Consulate General of India Sydney’s Business Lounge facilities, or interfere with others use of the Services.

  • Unauthorized access to the Services, accounts, computer systems, or networks connected to any CGI Business Lounge server is strictly prohibited, as is attempting to obtain materials or information through unauthorized means.

  • Users must not post or download files that you know or should know are illegal or that you do not have the rights to.

  • By using the Services, you confirm that you have the legal authority to abide by the terms and conditions without needing further authorization.

  • By using the services users also confirm that your use of the Services will not conflict with or breach any license, agreement, or other obligation that you are bound by.

Use Of Services

  • Users must not use the Services for contests, chain letters, spamming, or sending unsolicited messages.

  • Users must not engage in defaming, abusing, harassing, stalking, threatening, or violating the legal rights of others.

  • Users must not publish, post, upload, distribute, or disseminate inappropriate, profane, defamatory, obscene, indecent, or unlawful material on or through CGI Business Lounge servers.

  • Users must not upload or make available files that contain images, photographs, software, or other material protected by intellectual property laws unless you own or control the rights or have received all necessary consent.

  • Users must not use any material or information made available through the services in a way that infringes on any copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, or other proprietary right of any party.

  • Users must not download any file that you know, or reasonably should know, cannot be legally reproduced, displayed, performed, and/or distributed.

  • Users must not restrict or inhibit any other user from using and enjoying the Services.

  • Users must not violate any code of conduct, guidelines, or applicable laws or regulations.

  • Users must not create a false identity to mislead others.

Disclaimer Of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, GGI Business Lounge provides the Services "as is" and with all available resources. We hereby disclaim all warranties and conditions, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, lack of viruses, accuracy or completeness of responses, results, workmanlike effort, and lack of negligence. Also, there is no warranty, duty, or condition of title, quiet enjoyment, quiet possession, correspondence to description, or non-infringement. The entire risk as to the quality or arising out of participation in or the use of the services, remains with the users.
